For bars

Plan shifts that end at 2 a.m. — and still get a clean payroll export.

Late closes, last-minute swaps, no-show risk. kardia keeps the schedule honest and the timesheet accurate without the WhatsApp scramble.

What's hard today

  • Late closes turn into messy clock-out times
  • Swaps get arranged on WhatsApp, never reach the schedule
  • A no-show on Saturday at 21:00 costs you money

How kardia fits

One-tap clock-in/out

Staff stop the shift from their phone when they leave — no end-of-night paperwork.

Swap requests

Employees swap shifts in the app. You approve or reject with one click and the schedule updates itself.

No-show alerts

If a scheduled shift starts and nobody clocked in, you get a push notification immediately.

Common questions

Can the planner handle shifts past midnight?

Yes. A shift can span midnight (e.g. 18:00–02:00). Hours are counted on the start date, and the ArbZG rest period applies to the next shift automatically.

How do staff swap a shift?

An employee opens the shift in the app and sends a swap request to a coworker or back to the manager. You approve in one click; the schedule updates and both parties get a notification.

What happens when someone doesn't show up?

If a scheduled shift starts and no one has clocked in, you get an immediate push notification (PRO plan). You can call, reassign, or note the absence on the spot.
